Utilizing excerpts from the award-winning non-fiction text "A Small Place" by Jamaica Kincaid, Life & Debt is a woven tapestry of sequences focusing on the stories of individual Jamaicans whose strategies for survival and parameters of day-to-day existence are determined by the U.S. and other foreign economic agendas. By combining traditional documentary telling with a stylized narrative framework, the complexity of international lending, structural adjustment policies and free trade will be understood in the context of the day-to-day realities of the people whose lives they impact.

What "911 IPS" accomplishes that no other video expose' on September 11th has to date, is it exposes the viewer to a barrage of news clips from a majority of the mainstream news outlets. The official story of that day was told on live TV by reporters, policemen, firefighters, and other on-the-scene eyewitnesses, however, that footage was shown only once on live television broadcasts in the first hours of the attacks and then... it was never repeated. The stories changed, information was enigmatically omitted, and what can only be described as officially prescribed propaganda took the place of indisputable reality.

Razing NY: the Disappearance of Affordable Housing investigates patterns of gentrification throughout four different NYC neighborhoods. Bringing together community residents, organizers, business people and policy makers in the neighborhoods of the Lower East Side, Williamsburg, Bushwick and Fort Greene, youth producers cast their cameras on the politics of race, class and economic development as communities fight to make housing affordable for all.
Stone Mansion Dir. JJ Goldberger, 14 min. Set in Little Africa, the "Black Wall Street" of Tulsa, Oklahoma on the eve of the 1921 race riot, one of the most heinous race riots in US history. Stone Mansion tells the story of a prominent black doctor Dr. Marcus and his wife Mabel Stone , who are forced to make a difficult choice, either to stay and defend their beautiful home or run with nothing but their lives.

After his girlfriend's cousin, ROCIO, a stunning latina, drags him to his first Mariachi show, Eddie finds his true calling. His beautiful, but frustrated latina girlfriend, HEIDI, just sees another fly-by-night scheme and refuses to support him.

Ubuntu's Wounds Dir. Sechaba Morojele, 32 min.
This film is about a black South African activist Lebo Manaka who lives in exile in Los Angeles. While there he crosses paths with the former member of an apartheid hit squad that had murdered his wife years before. The white policeman had gone to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and had received amnesty for the killing. The confrontation makes for explosive drama.
